Gifts Processing & Record Administration processes donations made to Lincoln University. team is responsible for recording and maintaining alumni and donor information, providing biographical and gift processing, and ensuring that all contributions are receipted in a timely manner.
Processing and acknowledgment of gifts include donations of gifts made via cash, credit card, securities and gifts-in-kind. Biographical updates processed in the donor database include notification of name changes, change-of-address, employment information, marriages, deaths and research of lost alumni. Gifts Processing & Records Administration also administers the corporate matching gifts program.
The Office of Donor Services within the Department of Advancement Services is a central resource that fosters a collaborative relationship with our fundraising and campus partners. We use best case strategies and practices are in order to engage and/or re-engage new and current prospects and donors across all key constituent groups. Donor services include producing gift reports, pledge commitments, initiating gift agreements for execution, by assisting them with gift agreements, management of recognition events and providing any additional client and/or constituent service needed for effective and timely stewardship.
Prospect Research & Management aims to provide information that helps to build, maintain and strengthen the relationships with Lincoln University. The information collected is used in conjunction with information gathered by Institutional Advancement personnel to help create a sophisticated approach to fundraising that is well-intentioned, sensitive, and effective.
Prospect Development professionals conduct research on people, companies and foundations. They collect, evaluate, analyze, organize and disseminate publicly available information in a way that maximizes its usefulness in making decisions for Institutional Advancement operations.
