The Academic Advising Center

Welcome to the Academic Advising Center

The Academic Advising Center's website serves as a primary resource for prospective students, current students, faculty, and staff. You are welcome to use this website to access information and resources needed for course and program planning. Lincoln University utilizes the Appreciative and Intrusive Advising Models to increase student retention and success rates. In partnership with other student support offices, our academic advisors refer students to the resources that they need to support their academic success.

Mission

The mission of the Academic Advising Center is to empower and guide students, particularly those still discovering their academic pathways towards a major and those who are facing academic challenges. Our mission also focuses on developing academic plans that align with each student's major interests. The academic advising center's staff provides a holistic and personalized advising experience for each student.  Through various resources, we guide students while also serving as students' academic success champions.  In collaboration with faculty, staff, and student leaders, we offer an environment where each student's unique potential is recognized, nurtured, and empowered.
