Dr. Emmanuel Ihejirika is very well vested in the field of finance, investment, and accounting, having both corporate banking and academic experience for over twenty years. He authored a book titled “BARRIERS TO INTERNATIONAL CROSS BORDER INVESTMENT AMONG AFRICAN COMPANIES - IS IT COST OR COMPLIANCE?” He is currently an Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance; present coordinator of the graduate business program at Lincoln University, Pennsylvania. He teaches graduate and undergraduate students in all business courses particularly accounting, finance, and information technology. He previously taught for the following universities as visiting professor/adjunct, DeSales University, Strayer University, DeVry University, American Intercontinental University, Rasmussen College, Delaware County Community College and Pennsylvania Institute of Technology. He brings a wealth of knowledge teaching at the graduate level, which encompasses (Directed Research Project), Capstone courses for final year Master of Business Administration (MBA) students and doctoral dissertation supervision. He received his doctorate in accounting from Argosy University, MBA from DeSales University, and Bachelor Science degree in Accounting from Drexel University. He also attended St. Joseph’s University for one full academic year pursuing a MBA in Management Information Systems (MIS) and served as a graduate teaching/research assistant. Dr. Ihejirika is student centered, traveled with students to Spain for the study abroad program and drove accounting students to National Association of Black Accountant (NABA) conferences.
Besides teaching, his corporate experience includes over nine years as Audit and Compliance Coordinator in a fortune 100 healthcare company. He has over seven years of investment banking experience. Dr. Ihejirika was employed by PNC Bank as a Senior Investment Accountant/Custodian for 5 years overseeing the daily portfolio management, fund share subscription and redemption, fund expenses and dividend. He was promoted to Trade Advisory Specialist, overseeing global Securities trading and settlement as well as foreign exchanges transactions. He served as the president of Owerri Obinwanne Association, a non-profit organization in the Delaware Valley Pennsylvania; he currently serves as Director of Finance for Iwene Tansi Chaplaincy at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, Philadelphia and board member of Divine Mercy International Widows and Orphans Organization.
