Dr. Yvonne Hilton has worked in higher education for 31 years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Lincoln University (1988), a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from the University of Delaware (1990) and a Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Leadership and Innovation from Wilmington University (2009). Dr. Hilton began in her career in higher education at the University of Delaware in 1990, and in the fall of 2000 she began her tenure here at Lincoln University. She demonstrates a passion and willingness to address the needs of a diverse population of students in a challenging and caring learning environment. Dr. Hilton has given herself to the service of the university community: she has served on various university faculty standing committees; served as HPR/HSC department chair: served as co-chair for Middle States Self-Study; a panelist in a women’s health program; a facilitator in an anti-drug workshop for student athletes; a faculty advisor to the department’s major’s club.
