World Premiere of Multi-Media Performance Ratoon

Please join us to welcome the three Artists in Residence—documentary photographer Sasha Phyars-Burgess, poet Yolanda Wisher, and composer Sumi Tonooka to campus for a special Black History Month celebration on February 21, 2024 at 7 PM in the Ware Auditorium.

Together with Lincoln University students, the artists created a dynamic, multi-media performance to highlight the legacy of the impact of the sugar industry on people in the the Black diaspora. This performance features the Lincoln University Choir under the direction of Dr. Victoria Pitre.

We ask all faculty to encourage students to attend and to register their classes here
