LANGSTON HUGHES MEMORIAL LIBRARY

Named for the famous Harlem Renaissance poet and 1929 Lincoln University graduate, the Langston Hughes Memorial Library is an essential space for Lincoln students. It is home to everything you will need for your studies, research, and pursuing your degree. In the library you will find not only a vast and varied collection of books, journals, periodicals, and materials related to black history and experiences, but also classrooms, comfortable reading lounges, computer labs, restrooms, study rooms for individuals or groups as well as our full and extensive University archive. 
 
Just as important, the library is staffed with talented and knowledgeable professionals who are always ready to help. Whether you are looking for a particular title, need help navigating the library's databases, or need assistance with our vast reserve of reference materials, the library staff can guide you to what you need so you can complete your coursework and expand your knowledge. 
 
The 24/7 Computer Lab located on the main level of the library is accessible "around-the-clock".  Regardless of the time, computer access, printing, restrooms and comfortable seating & study space are always available for our students and guests.
